Assessments
Behavior Analysts conduct assessments prior to starting services in order to determine which skills are currently in the child’s repertoire. This is a critical part of developing a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan for the child, as well as determining age-appropriate targets to teach during sessions.
Verbal Behavior Program
We believe the most important thing your child can learn is to communicate with purpose. For this reason, we focus on using ABA principles and Verbal Behavior to help your child improve their communication and verbal skills by teach them how words can help them meet their wants and needs. We focus on connecting words with a purpose.
School consultation and support
BCBAs and RBTs provide the support necessary for your child to succeed in the school environment. We utilize different ABA based methods to help schools develop or improve systems to improve behaviors of students and classrooms. We collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop individualized plans to promote positive behaviors, opportunities for inclusion, and student independence. The BCBAs also work with teachers and staff to implement effective classroom techniques and practices based on the principles of ABA.
Student Supervision
As future Behavior Analysts, they are expected to complete a certain amount of hours depending on their school and supervision type. We want to make sure that ABA students receive the experience and training needed to be able to work independently. We provide indirect, and direct, hours that consist of completing different tasks such as assessments, developing programs, conduct training, and many more that we believe will provide students with a head start to what a Behavior Analyst does on a daily basis.
Telehealth
We understand that sometimes it is difficult to receive services and/or support from 9am-5pm. This is why we make sure that we are available whenever a parent needs us. With our telehealth services, parents and caregivers can be guided in managing their children’s behaviors from the comforts of their home. This is especially helpful when scheduling in person meetings between parents and BCBAs is difficult due to scheduling.
Parent Training
Parents are a crucial part of their child’s development. This is why we not only focus on the child, but also on training the parents on ABA principles. We want to make sure that parents and caregivers have the necessary tools and skills to manage their children’s behaviors. We conduct hands-on training with the parent and the child present, as well as model interventions to be used. An assessment can be conducted for parents as well to develop individualized goals that adjust to each family.
Early Intervention
Intensive 1:1 ABA services for children 18 months to 5 years old. Following an initial assessment, an individualized behavior program will be developed by the Behavior Analyst for your child. The interventions are designed to capitalize on your child’s motivation and make learning a fun process. Different skill areas are targeted in this plan which include communication (requesting needs and wants), following instructions, behavior management (replacing problem behaviors), toileting and hand washing, feeding, play skills, social skills, school readiness (transition between activities, participating in group activities, independent work)
Sleep Programs
We believe that sleep is a crucial aspect of your child’s development. For this reason, we want to make sure that your child develops healthy sleep habits. We will develop ABA based interventions if your child has issues with sleep dependencies, nighttime routine noncompliance, night awakenings, and early awakenings.
